Hidden Agenda Spider Man PS4 Lets Play - Part 7

 

Hey everyone, it's Heiky and lets play the Marvel's Spider Man PS4! I will write a series of Spider Man PS4 posts which will cover the main story, side mission, backpack locations, research station missions, fisk hideouts and more. 

Marvel's Spider-Man PS4 developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment on 2018 for Playstation 4. 

We will learn more about Peter Parker's life and Spider Man's life exploring puzzle minigames, unlock new suits, advanced impact web challenge and upgrade gadgets. 

This game is the best in the Spider Man series as we play and interact in an open world environment in Manhattan New York City.

Main Story | Dual Purpose

Location: Recycling Center, Hell's Kitchen
Reward: 3,000 XP

Spiderman continues his pursuit in Part 7 on PS4 looking for more evidences on Martin Li. Spidey needs to investigate two buildings to uncover Li's true intention. 

First of, he explores the recycling center, finding ways to get into the building while taking down the Demons stealthly using Perch Takedowns. As he enters the building,  he explores the blueprints of Osbourne's campaigne, discovers the Trip Mine gadget and explosives which gives a clue to the next building at Consolidated Shipping. The best part is that you can now use a new gadget for the next mission. 

Immediately Spiderman heads off to the Consolidated Shipping location, web swinging and web zipping along the narrow landscape of the Hell's Kitchen. As you arrived on top of the vantage point, time to use the new Trip Mine gadget on the enemies then takedown the remaining enemies before sneaking into the office. Explore the interactable Martin Li's blueprints to unlock the Demon Warehouses minigame for Base Tokens rewards in New York City. 

Head outside of the office then takedown the last few Demons. Use the Electric Web to stun the Demon enemy with octopus hands and Web Blossom to take down the remaining enemies. 

Main Story | Hidden Agenda

Location: F.E.A.S.T, Chinatown
Reward: 3,000 XP

Head to the top of the F.E.A.S.T. building to switch to Peter Parker mode. Inside the building, you can start by sweeping up meeses outside the kitchen by the stairs, in the cafeteria in the corner and up by the Martin Li's office. 

Then, after finding out that Li's office is locked. Look for an accessible ventilation to web-zipped into it. Crawl through the ventilation while appying electric web on junction box to short out electrical wires.

Inside Martin Li's office, explore his ghost story book, a portrait frame and a diary on his desk to take the key. Solve the Puzzle Lock as matched in the portrait to unlock a hidden room. 

Then explore Martin Li's hidden room on his Demons weapons, Oscorp's origins clips, birth of Harry clips and the death of Emily Osborn clips. As you about to leave the room, it triggers the trap that electrifies the entire room. Use your web-zipped to search for a junction box and apply the electric web to undone the eletric trap. 

Head outside to start the cutscene.

New Suit Revealed in Spider Man PS4 Lets Play - Part 6

Side Mission | Spider-Men

Seeing cosplays in Marvel's comics and other animes is nothing new in this world. The Spider-Men side mission is no different either. You'll unlock this side mission after completing The Mask main story mission. 

First,  head to the shop keeper in Harlem who starts to thank you for saving his daughter earlier. You'll be puzzled and wonder that turns out that it was other people that saved her.  Head straight to June Kraus Theatre to find some clues. 

Swinging around in Harlem gives that Arkham vibes, dark and foggy surrounded by tall apartments. 

The first clue is discovered after talking to the girl, head out to where the fire is and inspect them. You'll notice that people around you starts appreciating for your bravery and become even more confused thereafter. Inspecting the fire escape by scanning on the crime scene and solving puzzle minigame gives that extra touch of joy playing Spiderman PS4. 

You will discover a chemical trail which you will follow around the city. Leading you to the top of a building, interacting with injured enemies and only to find out that the Spider-Men impersonator is on the other side of the building.

Chase him to an enemy's hideout at a construction site. Reminds me of another FISK hideout. Take the enemies down like you would do on any FISK hideouts using impact web gadgets against the walls. Yank the snipers weapon to take him down swiftly while dodging from their shots. You've completed this side mission once you take down all the enemies. 

Side Mission | Cat's Cradle

You'll unlock this side mission after collecting all mascots in Black Cat Stakeout missions. Part 6 covers the remaining stakeout locations from Harlem, Upper West Side, Upper East Side, Hell's Kitchen, Midtown, Chinatown and Financial District. 

Brush up your photography skills on this one as you will need to sense where each of the cat mascots are located on different locations. After all, Peter Parker was a journalist for Daily Bugle under J. Jonah Jameson.

Spiderman uses these pictures to figure out the algorithm which brings the side mission "Cat's Cradle". Swing by to her hideout location underneath like an underground. 

Inside her hideout, Spiderman discovers financial data on the Maggia crime families, and art stolen from Wilson Fisk. Realizing that her true intention were much bigger, worth $50 million worth of loot for retrieving her items. 

Complete this mission and you will be rewarded with the Dark suit. 

Enter Black Cat Marvel's Spider Man PS4 Lets Play - Part 5

Main Story | Stakeout

Spider Man PS4 arrives on top of a building in a stealth suit. Black Cat is your first encounter on this playthrough. Felicia Hardy introduces you to another minigame about Black Cat Stakeouts scattered in specific locations around the New York City. After you trigger the minigame, point your camera towards a tiny cat toy figure and capture it to complete your first stakeout. 

Main Story | Couch Surfing

After a long hard night. Spider Man switches to Peter Parker's role at F.E.A.S.T. Head to Aunt May's office on the first floor, browse through the interactable objects in her office and then take a rest to trigger a cutscene. The next mission in the Main Story will be a tough one so be prepare with upgrades on skills and gadgets before heading out. 

Main Story | Straw, Meet Camel

Another hard mission as you'll infiltrate the FISK construction site. Spider Man on Sam Raimi's suit sneaks through the construction site by crawling on the bars, performing stealth takedowns and use cranes or other objects to take down the enemies until the first cutscene. 

After the first cutscene, equip yourself with Web Blossom to take out all the enemies. Then work your way up to the top of the construction building, attacking and dodging from the FISK enemies attacks while saving civilians. Using gadgets with splash impact such as web bombs, web blossoms will prove useful to take out all enemies at once. 

Once you've reach at the top, you'll trigger another cutscene. This time, your traversal skills will become handy, chasing the helicopter with a hanging container. Web swinging and web zipped where necessary so not to lose sight from the helicopter. As you approach close to the helicopter, you'll need to stop the helicopter and the container from landing on to the ground. Another cutscene triggers after you saved the civilians. 

Main Story | And the Award Goes to...

For the last mission in Part 5. You'll be playing as Miles Morales searching for his father Donald Jefferson during the messed-up. During this stealth mission, you'll have to avoid being discovered by the Demons by constantly press R3 analog stick to scan the foggy environment. Use the objects like flipped cars or cranes to crawl under or climb above the objects without being discovered to complete this mission successfully.

What a Day to Remember! Marvel's Spider Man PS4 Lets Play - Part 4

Main Story | A Day to Remember

First of, Peter Parker meets his mentor, Dr Octavious at Greenwich research science lab. The cutscene triggers as the main turning point of the main story in Spiderman PS4. Dr Octavious, Norman Osbourne and Peter Parker will learn about the fate of their science project and their future. 

Main Story | Home Sweet Home

After the cutscene, switching to Spiderman character, searching for clues to track his lost backpack. His first destination is at the garbage truck building. Tracking with an in-built suit system, he eventually ends up at an enemy's hideout. In this main story, he learns the newly discovered web bomb gadget by experimenting on the enemies in front of him. 

How to Use Web Bomb Gadget

Here you aim the web bombs to a group of enemies, about 3-5 of them, at a wall or truck. The web bomb explodes to capture a group of enemies covered in webs. 

Side Mission | Storming the Castle

Immediately after interacting with the NPC, Spiderman web swings to the only castle located in Central Park to recover the flash drive. The castle is well-guarded by the Fisk enemies with snipers, brutes and weapon holders. 

After defeating the enemies, one of the pigeons took the flash drive which forces the main player to web swing around the Central Park to capture the flash drive and return back to its owner. 

Research Station | Snapping up Smog

Switching to Spiderman. He discovers Research Station missions to receive Research Tokens after completing each missions. Harry Osbourne introduces these missions to carry out her mom's project legacy.

This mission needs you to trace where the smogs are coming from. So, Spiderman needs to collect 8 samples of smogs and capture pictures of smokestacks as evidence to give to the Environment Protection.

Shocking Comeback in Marvel's Spider Man PS4 Lets Play - Part 3

Main Story | Don't Touch the Art

The auction house will be your first destination. You'll play two characters, first as Spiderman and second as Mary Jane Watson. First ever in the Marvel's Spider-Man's series. 

Spiderman enters the auction house from the top of the building through a narrow ventilation. He learns that the enemies were on a heist mission while communicating with Yuri Watanabe. 

Here your objective is to takedown the enemies in the shadows. 

The first stealth gameplay is introduced in Spiderman PS4 guiding you on how to perform stealth takedowns from inside the ventilation, on the ceiling and behind the enemy without alerting the entire building. 

As you takedown all the enemies to reach a checkpoint. A cutscene triggers. 

After the cutscene, you'll play as Mary Jane Watson in her first stealth mission. 

You'll browse through the artifacts in the auction house looking for clues to a secret room. Once you bypass a receptionist into the secret room, you'll learn more about the enemy's intention with the clues given. 

After that, you'll switch as Spiderman. This time you'll takedown the enemies with combat, exploring new gadget powers. 

Main Story | A Shocking Comeback

As you approach the Chinatown, a cutscene will trigger. You'll be chasing Shocker in a "you can't escape me" mission. Upgrading your traversal skills are extremely helpful since you'll be swinging and web-zipping around the Chinatown to catch Shocker. 

Main Story | The Mask 

In this main story, you'll be bringing the mask discovered at the auction house in Don't Touch the Art mission to meet Mr Li in his office, F.E.A.S.T. 

Side Mission | Spider-Man P.I.

In this side mission, Spiderman acts as a night journalist, tracking the NPC's targeted person with web swinging and capturing pictures for evidences. The evidences gathered tracks you to the enemies whom trying to escape in a car chase. Chase them and eventually you complete this mission.

Main Story | FISK Hideout

The first enemy's hideout, Fisk Hideout, and how exciting it is! Following-up from Fisk capture in Part 1. He left his hideouts around the New York City to make sure his operations run smoothly. The first stop for Spiderman is at Greenwich. He gets to experiment new gadgets with the advanced impact web on the Fisk enemies. You'll have to take down all the enemies for 6 waves in the Fisk Hideout to complete this mission. 

Main Story | For She's a Jolly Good Fellow

After battling the first Fisk Hideout, Spiderman heads to the F.E.A.S.T, dressed as Peter Parker to meet aunt May. The cutscene begins explaining this main story. 

Minigame | Spatial Mapping

As Peter Parker, solving Dr Ock's puzzles in one of the Spiderman PS4 minigames. Taking the anti-clockwise route to allow the electric flows from the power source to the end point.

Minigame | Balance Compensation

The next puzzle minigame, take the clockwise route for the electric to flow from the power source to the end point. A straight forward puzzle with minimum adjustments on the voltages. 

Minigame | Power Efficiency

The last puzzle minigame for Part 2 requires you to take the anti-clockwise route from the source to the end point. Adjusting the voltages to its equilibrium is challenge for this part. 

Minigame | Spectograph Projects

Another minigame in Dr Octavious's office for Peter Parker to play his part in supporting Dr Ock's science project. In Part 2, Peter must match the patterns in this minigame to reach balance in bio-chemistry of Dr Ock's project. Simply so that the research science project does not go haywire. The minigame covers L37, X23, B62 and V13.

Revisiting Marvel's Spider-Man PS4 Lets Play - Part 1

Hey everyone, it's Heiky and lets play the Marvel's Spiderman PS4! I will write a series of Spider Man PS4 posts which will cover the main story, side mission, backpack locations, research station missions, Fisk hideouts, Black Cat missions and more. 

Marvel's Spider-Man PS4 developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment on 2018 for Playstation 4 both on hardware and digital releases. 

We will learn more about Peter Parker's life and Spiderman's life exploring puzzle minigames, unlock new suits, advanced impact web challenge and upgrade gadgets. 

This game is the best in the Spider Man series as we play and interact in an open world environment in Manhattan New York City. 

Main Story - Clearing the Way

Spider-Man begins with a lifeline from Yuri Watanabe, giving him an assignment to clear-out the crime scene. He learns basic combat and web slinging during this mission playthrough. 

Main Story - The Main Event

As Spider-Man reaches the Fisk Tower, he infiltrates the tower by taking down the Fisk enemies and override the bomb system before facing his first boss fight against a villain Wilson Fisk himself. 

I find the on-the-game tutorial fascinating and easy walkthrough for any newbie to the game. The boss battle itself took about 3 minutes long before the cutscene begins.  

Main Story - My Other OTHER Job

After your first boss fight with Wilson Fisk. Peter Parker heads to Greenwich to meet Dr Octavious to discuss about his ambitious research science project. Peter will also learn about the new puzzle minigames to solve Dr Ock's research science project. 

One of my favourite minigames in the Spider-Man PS4 playthrough. The minigames are short, about 1 minute long, and highly addictive with research token rewards for your suit and gadget upgrades later on.

Main Story - Keeping the Peace

Spiderman learns to synchronize all the police communication towers in New York City. After a conversation with Yuri, the first tower is done at Chinatown before heading to the nearest crime scene. 

After communication tower synchronization, you'll have access to crime scene, backpacks, enemy hideouts and side mission locations depending on your progress in the main story.
