A Dream of Ashes - Assassin’s Creed Origins Memphis Side Quests Gameplay (PS4)

Hello everyone,

First 32 minutes of this second re-run of the Memphis side quests of A Dream of Ashes in the Assassin's Creed Origins gameplay on Playstation 4 (PS4). Always a joyful recording this gameplay on the second run 4 years later. So, here are my thoughts about this walkthrough. Read more or watch the playthrough below:

A Dream of Ashes - Assassin’s Creed Origins Memphis Side Quests Gameplay (PS4)

Open World

Playing through A Dream of Ashes side quests in Memphis, Bayek explores three different areas in this village to collect all three amulets. Doing side quest at night is probably more advantageous to stealth takedown the enemies since Bayek could be in camouflage mode easily.

First, he explores the Great temple that's nearby and within the distance from the point he starts his mission.

Next, Bayek digs deep into the Memphis Underground in the middle of A Dream of Ashes side quests. Being aware of the Roman guards patrolling and positioning in the underground, Bayek should remain on stealth mode and if possible perform stealth takedown.

Travelling to the Eastern Districts is the farthest in this side quest. Bayek seeks answers of A Dream of Ashes by collecting the final three amulets to be handed to the Priest. Climbing and parkouring from one building to another was a joyful experience and brings back that old school feeling of playing the Assassin's Creed series.

Gameplay

Had much fun for this part of the side quests in Memphis! Taking down the Roman guards using assassination from behind and above the building was epic! Battle of against the crocodiles while swimming in the river relives the glorious wildlife scenes in the Assassin's Creed Origins. Smooth and seamless gameplay with a press of a button to assassinate one enemy to the other via chain assassination.

Powerful vision from Senu, the female eagle, looking out for targets eases Bayek's side quests to find those three amulets to be handed to the Priest eventually.

Sounds

Once again, hats-off to Sarah Schachner's team for another blinding original game soundtrack! The soundtracks fits well, reliving the vibes of Memphis in Egypt at night time. Enforcing critical moments when the Roman guards are nearby while Bayek in hiding brings the goosebumps out of me!

Verdict

Enjoying every bits of action for this side quests! Those 32 minutes were invaluable as A Dream of Ashes explores most parts of Memphis which from an RPG perspective, is another amazing experience!

Mortem Romanum - Assassin’s Creed Origins Side Quests Gameplay (PS4 - Memphis)

Hello everyone,

This is a short review of let's play the Mortem Romanum Side Quests in the Assassin’s Creed Origins on Playstation 4 (PS4). Watch the gameplay and read more below:

Mortem Romanum - Assassin’s Creed Origins Side Quests Gameplay (PS4 - Memphis)

Open World

The Mortem Romanum side quests is based at the Memphis location, east part of Egypt facing the Sinai. Memphis is a highly dense population compare to the other parts of Egypt. Buildings in Memphis are compact and close to each other, with interactive objects like crane, rope which connects from one building to another and platforms that allows Bayek to explore using his parkour and climbing skills. This does brings back the old Assassin's Creed series. The gameplay also explores the beautiful scenes of Memphis and river facing the Sinai.

Gameplay

The Mortem Romanum side quest in the Assassin’s Creed Origins gameplay requires Bayek to be at level 30. Though in my opinion,  this is one of the most straightforward side quests of all gameplay. This side activity allows you, as Bayek, to explore different gameplay skills from parkouring, rowing the boat, diving and swimming under water and assassinate the target.

Sounds

The sounds of the Mortem Romanum side quest in the Assassin’s Creed Origins gameplay reflects the lifestyle of Egypt in particular Memphis. As Bayek heading to meet the NPC to begin his mission, he'll feel the vibes of the sounds of Egyptian hammering the stones while surrounded by the cricket sounds of wildlife which brings enjoyment while I was recording this PS4 walkthrough. Full credit to Sarah Schachner and her team for producing amazing Original Game Soundtrack of AC Origins PS4 video game. My personal favourite sounds for this side quest is when Bayek rows the boat heading to his target while facing a scenic view with vast skies and river and the Sinai mountains.

Verdict

In my opinion, it's another easy and straightforward side quest. Thank you for your time and be sure to check out my other blog post.  😁

The Bride - Assassin’s Creed Origins Side Quests Gameplay (PS4 - Faiyum)

 Hello everyone,

This is a short review of what I think of The Bride Side Quests in Assassin’s Creed Origins on Playstation 4 (PS4). Watch the gameplay:

The Bride - Assassin’s Creed Origins Side Quests Gameplay (PS4 - Faiyum)

Open World

Faiyum is one of the most scenic places in Egypt, at least in this game. I love the views of civilisation surrounded by rocky sand mountains facing a large oasis. It gives that soothing experience when playing The Bride side quests as Bayek.

Gameplay

The Bride side quests in the Assassin’s Creed Origins requires your hunting skills ability, can be unlocked under the Ability tab. I enjoyed the experience of using the Predator bow, aiming for the helpless heron while zooming in the target as the arrow travels. The swoosh sounds gives that immersive experience when the target is hit. After that, Bayek faces-off with the leopards which demands your dodging and counter skills at speed.

Sounds

The sounds of the oasis, coupled with the wildlife’s makes it a brilliant open world game to explore. The soundtrack (ost) compiled by Sarah’s team from Ubisoft blends it well with the side quests magnitude

Verdict

Overall, i think this is a straightforward side quests which could be repetitive in other places in Faiyum.
