🐉 Yakuza 6: Chapter 13 Ending - The Unforgiven Walkthrough

This is the finale of the game, a long sequence of massive battles culminating in the final two boss fights.

Part 1: Preparation and The Point of No Return

  1. Final Preparation (Onomichi): The chapter begins in Onomichi. You'll receive a huge story update, including the happy news about Haruka. You have a last chance to explore Onomichi and Kamurocho to complete any remaining Substories, Clan Creator missions, or mini-games.

    • Crucial Note: When you interact with the bed in Onomichi and select the option "Go to Kamurocho," you are committing to the endgame. You will not return to Onomichi until after the credits roll (in Premium Adventure mode).

    • Stock Up: Maximize your inventory with the best healing items (Toughness ZZ, Staminan Royale, etc.) and any high-quality alcohol you have, as you will face several boss-level enemies.

  2. To Kamurocho: When ready, select the option at the bed to travel back.

  3. New Serena: Go to New Serena. A cutscene will play. Confirm at the door when you are ready to proceed with the final sequence.

Part 2: The Final Assault on Millenium Tower

You will be immediately teleported to the start of a massive battle sequence beneath the Millenium Tower.

  1. First Wave (Minions): You'll face a large wave of two dozen minions. You have a massive advantage here, as you'll have five allies (including Date, Someya, and the Hirose Family) fighting with you. Use standard crowd control, grabs, and throws to quickly thin the enemy numbers.

  2. The Lobby: Follow the pink dot toward the escalators leading down into the building lobby.

  3. Lobby Battle (Mini-Bosses): A second wave of minions will attack in the lobby. Take them out. A third wave will appear, including the powerful mini-boss Sakai.

    • Strategy: Use your allies as distraction while focusing your Heat Attacks on the toughest enemies first.

Part 3: Millenium Tower Ascent

The path is linear; follow the pink dot marker through the corridors.

  1. Rocket Launcher Ambush: In the next room, two enemies will be armed with rocket launchers.

    • Strategy: Their aim is poor. Keep moving until they fire and miss, then sprint directly to them and take them down quickly.

  2. Helicopter Sequence (Gunmen): You'll move outside to an area where a helicopter makes passes, firing at you. This is an evasion and priority-target sequence.

    • Submachine Gunner: Immediately upon regaining control, sprint forward and take out the farthest minion with a submachine gun. His attacks deal unblockable damage.

    • Evasion: When the helicopter appears, hide behind a pillar or barrier and wait for it to pass.

    • Grenade and Explosives: After the helicopter passes, another wave attacks, including a minion with a grenade launcher and another with standard grenades. Take out these explosive threats first, then deal with the remaining enemies.

    • Continue: Wait for the helicopter to pass again before advancing to the next interior area.

  3. Hallway Fight (Heavy Minions): The next large room contains several heavy minions. They block often and are difficult to throw.

    • Strategy: Use any environmental weapons to break their guard. This is a great spot to use Extreme Heat Mode to power through their defenses. Once they are down, continue to the elevators.

Part 4: Final Battles

After a series of cutscenes, you will face the final two boss fights.

🥊 Boss Fight 1: Tsuneo Iwami

You will face the heir of the Iwami Shipbuilding company and the acting patriarch of the Yomei Alliance.

  • Strategy: Iwami is a quick, polished fighter with a powerful, fast style.

    • Dodging is Key: His attacks are fast and can drain your health quickly. Focus entirely on lateral quicksteps to get behind him after one of his combo sequences, and only counter with a short combo before backing off.

    • Weapons: If there are any environmental weapons available, use them to deal reliable damage and interrupt his flow.

    • Extreme Heat: He will use his own Extreme Heat. Match it with yours to either trade damage effectively or use the invulnerability to land a Heat Action.

🥋 Final Boss Fight: Takumi Someya

The final major confrontation of the game will take place immediately after the Iwami fight.

  • Heal Up! If you are low on health or Heat items, pause the game immediately before the fight begins and use your best healing items.

  • Strategy: This is the most difficult and climactic fight. Someya is extremely fast, agile, and uses a very aggressive, unpredictable style.

    • Parry and Quickstep: This is a fight that rewards perfect defensive timing. Quicksteps are vital to get behind him. Wait for him to commit to a major attack before attempting a counter.

    • Heat Action Mastery: If you have any Heat Actions that can be performed when he is standing or grappled, use them. They are your most reliable source of damage.

    • Extreme Heat: Save your best alcohol/Heat-filling items for this fight. Use Extreme Heat Mode when you have a good opening to land a full Heat Rush combo. This is the best way to get a significant lead on his massive health bar.

    • Patience: Do not get greedy with combos. Stick to 3-4 hits after a successful dodge and be ready to Quickstep again.

Defeating Someya triggers the final cutscenes and the emotional ending of Kiryu's story.
