E3 2019 Post Review - Watch Dogs: Legion

Hey guys,

Great news for Watch Dogs fans as Ubisoft announced another series; Watch Dogs: Legion at recent E3 2019 in Los Angeles.

Previous titles were Watch Dogs & Watch Dogs 2.

Some facts:

Name of game: Watch Dogs: Legion
Developer: Ubisoft Toronto
Published by: Ubisoft
Released date: March 6, 2020

Background

Watch Dogs: Legion will have multiple playable characters to play for as a member of the resistance: DeadSec. Your mission is to take on an organisation called Albion.

The Albion is responsible for distributing flying riot drones all over London to keep people in line. So, the setting will be in London, UK.

My Opinion - First Impression

I've never played Watch Dogs games before but have watched walkthroughs and trailers. So, here are my thoughts on the trailer:

London Setting

Personally, I love the scenery and background in London. The place is more compact and the action begins at night. It makes the game more challenging as you have to squeeze pass through the crowds either to aim for the riot drones or to escape from it.

The roads in London are typically narrow, makes it hard to overtake during the hit and run scenes.

Also, the dark setting makes it challenging for shooting actions, like when aiming at the flying drones.

Multiple Playable Characters

At one point, playing more than one character can be challenging and interesting as you'll get to learn their different skills and personality.

But playing multiple characters could be confusing as you'll need to learn and understand a lot of characters, which could deviate you from the actual story line.

Graphics

It's pretty much similar to the previous Watch Dogs series, nothing spectacular so far except for being able to play in London.

More to come..
